Want to try a decadent French pastry? Stop by Amelie’s French Bakery & Cafe to try one of their scrumptious desserts! Amelie’s is known for its salted caramel brownies and French macarons, but also offers soups, sandwiches, salads, coffees, teas, and other beverages. Best of all – every item is hand-made from scratch! 2. Batter Cookie Dough

Craving cookie dough but don’t want to risk getting sick? Cue Batter Cookie Dough! Batter Cookie Dough serves edible cookie dough (with no eggs and all natural ingredients) in over 10 different yummy flavors. You can take a bite of classic cookie dough flavors like chocolate chip, or you can enjoy seasonal flavors such as s’mores or lemon! Its menu also includes vegan and gluten free cookie dough options, freshly baked cookies and delicious milkshakes. Once you try one of their tempting desserts, you will surely believe its motto: “life just got batter!” Batter Cookie Dough is located in Ponce City Market in Atlanta, Georgia.
3. Delights by Dawn

These aren’t your ordinary cupcakes…there is a special ingredient inside (and can only be tasted by those 21 and older!) Delights by Dawn creates alcohol-infused cupcakes, cakes and desserts. Not quite of-age yet? Don’t fret! Delights by Dawn also offers non-infused desserts for those under 21. You can find more information about pop-up locations and how to place an order on her website.
4. Doughnut Dollies

We already know you want to sink your teeth into one of these freshly made doughnuts from Doughnut Dollies. Doughnut Dollies, owned by husband and wife duo Anna Gatti and Chris Gatti, creates yeast doughnuts that are “made fresh with care” and hand-rolled every morning! Their unique mouth-watering creations are the perfect Instagram-worthy dessert to try at Taste of Atlanta this year. 5. High Road Ice Cream

I scream, you scream, we all scream for High Road Ice Cream! High Road’s luxury ice cream is handcrafted by chefs and tastes great paired with desserts such as pies, cakes, or cookies. Indulge in a pint of ice cream, or try a “no spoon needed” ice cream sandwich! High Road also makes Wallops, which consist of sweet cream ice cream covered in cookie dough and chocolate. 6. Revolution Gelato

Revolution Gelato won “Best Dessert” at Taste of Atlanta in 2016, 2017 and 2018, so this is a dessert spot you will not want to miss at this year’s festival! Founded by Atlanta resident Jared Olkin, Revolution gelato started with the mission of creating a tasty dairy-free ice cream. Revolution gelato offers six yummy flavors: Cardamom Spice, Darkest Chocolate, French Press Coffee, Full Throttle Vanilla, Majestic Mango and Orange Cream. 7. Sweet Spot

Want to try an authentic Asian dessert? Sweet Spot adds a “modern twist to traditional dessert” with their fusion Asian creations. Sweet Spot’s menu includes items such as hand-crafted gourmet ice pops, milkshakes, and create-your-own fusion bowls and ice cream bowls. Visit Sweet Spot at 6035 Peachtree Rd.
8. Tiff’s Treats

Do you like the thought of warm, scrumptious cookies delivered right to your door? Us, too! And thankfully Tiff’s Treats Cookie Delivery does just that. Tiff’s Treats started in 1999 by owners Tiff and Leon, who founded the company by delivering cookies out of Leon’s college apartment in Austin, Texas. Fast forward to 2016 when they opened a location in Atlanta! You can order warm cookies, brownies, ice cream, or try their signature TiffBlitz® Frozen Dessert or TiffWich® Ice Cream Sandwich. Tiff’s Treats also offers party packs and cookie trays for special events! You can bet Tiff’s Treats will be at Taste of Atlanta this year, and you can also place an order through its website or app.
9. Yojay’s Yogurt Treats

Last on our list of must-try dessert spots in Atlanta (but certainly not least) is Yojay’s Yogurt Treats! Yojay’s Yogurt Treats is a self-service Yogurt shop that serves frozen yogurt, gelato, italian ice and custard. They offer daily specials, a loyalty program, discounts, and even birthday treats. Stop by Yojay’s Yogurt Treats in Forest Park at 1105 Main St Suite 401.
