Tis the season to celebrate all things jolly at a few of our favorite holiday pop-up bars around Atlanta! Grab your friends, put on your favorite ugly sweater and get in the holiday spirit with a holiday cocktail (or two!).
1. Miracle Bar
Miracle on Monroe
Tapa Tapa is the classic stop for a jolly good time. The original Atlanta Miracle will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays for private events, but there’s still plenty of cheer to go around the rest of the week!
Miracle on Highland
Miracle on Highland has returned to Parish for its second year to serve up Holiday cheer. Also closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, this winter wonderland will offer a special Holiday brunch on weekends and has partial buyouts available for those of you looking for the perfect space for a Holiday special event.
2. Sippin’ Santa
Sippin’ Santa is in its second year at Bon Ton in Midtown. The Christmas-meets-paradise drink menu is the perfect opportunity to indulge for those who prefer their holiday on the beach. Thanks to last year’s success, Santa (and you) will be sippin’ on carefully curated cocktails all season long. Bon Ton will keep their normal hours serving lunch and dinner and won’t offer their traditional drink menu during Sippin’ Santa.
Santa’s FantasticalSM is a family-friendly holiday destination full of art, technology, and nostalgia, where the season comes alive through interactive experiences, live performances, state-of-the-art technology, and Instagram- worthy moments. New this year, Santa’s Secret ‘Stache, located within Santa’s Fantastical, is a festive speakeasy complete with delicious seasonal cocktails as well as the opportunity to hang out with Hipster Santa or Missy Clause!
4. Mingle & Jingle
Nestled within the Kitchen Bar at Best End Brewing Co., Mingle & Jingle has brought some major holiday spirit and over-the-top Christmas cheer to the Beltline! Complete with outrageous Christmas tchotchkes, a giant hugging bear, dancing flamingos, a massive Christmas tree, and holiday bling in every nook and cranny, Mingle & Jingle is here to escape from the holiday stress! Open Wednesday through Sunday until January 5th, 2020!
5. The Blitzen Room
Biltong Bar at Ponce City Market has transformed for the winter season and is sure to fulfill all of your nostalgic Christmas memories with its swanky, vintage Christmas decor and seasonally themed cocktails. Stop by to enjoy the festivities while sipping on holiday cocktails including their Chartreuse Hot Chocolate and Frozen Egg Nog. The Blitzen Room will be open Monday through Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. They will be open until Thursday, December 26th!
6. W Atlanta
Decked Out Bar at W Atlanta-Buckhead
In honor of its stylish neighborhood, Buckhead’s holiday pop-up bar inside Cook Hall will be festooned in design-driven and fashion-focused décor – along with a lineup of fabulous seasonal cocktails to fuel merry mixing and mingling. Open Mondays through Saturdays from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m.
Whiskey Blue’s Tacky Tiki Xmas
Whiskey Blue is on island time this holiday season with their pop-up bar experience located at the W Atlanta-Buckhead! Escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, and head to Whiskey Blue’s island oasis to enjoy specialty themed cocktails including the House of Christmas, Yuletide Carol and On Tequila Time. Whiskey Blue’s Tacky Tiki Xmas will be open during the rooftop bar’s normal business hours from now through Friday, January 3rd!
Elf’d Up Bar at W Atlanta-Midtown
Tacky and tantalizing are the best ways to describe Midtown’s holiday pop-up bar – featuring an array of festive sips and bites, including Mules are Better than Reindeer (the bar’s take on a holiday Moscow Mule), and Rudolph’s Red-Nosed Sliders made with venison. Open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays in December from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. Dec. 12-14, Dec. 19-21 and Dec. 26-28.
Slay Bar at W Atlanta-Downtown
As an epicenter of music and entertainment, Downtown’s holiday pop-up bar inside the Living Room will light up the scene with seasonal elegance and spin festive tunes for guests every night of the week – with a special holiday menu to please everyone’s palate.Open Mondays through Saturdays from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m.
